I noticed a posting about this new movie on Pop Candy today. This documentary tells the story of girls ages 8 - 18 who go to a Rock n’ Roll Camp for Girls in Portland, OR - seems a lot like School of Rock or Rock School but with more empowerment. You know, I honestly would have loved going to something like that. Even though I don’t know how to play an instrument, I still could have screamed into a mic like that 8 year-old. Looks like she could kick my butt too! Check out the Web site for Girls Rock! as well as the blog.

Let me know if you guys want to see this when it comes out in theaters in March. Sounds like an awesome thing for all girls and women to see. We could go out to dinner beforehand too.
